Become a Vendor
Want to become a vendor or concessionaire at the San Diego County Fair and reach our 1.6 million visitors?
Our application period for new vendors runs from December to March, so please check this page of the website in December, 2018, for information on the 2019 Fair. Information on this page is from the 2018 Fair, and may be subject to change for 2019.
Our basic criteria for selecting new vendors for the San Diego County Fair include:
Product balance within the Fair
Uniqueness and appeal of the product
Ability to set up a professional, attractive display
While selections are not made on a first-come, first-served basis, we do advise you to return your completed application as soon as possible. The review process is ongoing, and when we find a qualified applicant who meets the above criteria we will look to book that applicant as space allows. The application is for selection consideration only, and is neither a commitment by the applicant or an offer by the 22nd DAA to rent space.
It is imperative that you fill out your application completely with all requested supporting documents, and that your $25 processing fee is received prior to the deadline. Incomplete or late applications may not be considered. Photos of your products, menu items, and your booth or food stand in operational form must be included. (Refer to application for further information.)
If you have submitted an application, please do not contact our office regarding your status. The application review process is lengthy, and calls of this nature only prolong the process. We will contact you as soon as possible if we are able to offer you a space. Applicants will hear from our office regarding their application status no later than April 11, 2018.
Commercial space rates go up to $3,890, based on 10ft. x 10ft. spaces, for the entire run of the Fair. See the rate sheet for details. You may state a preference for indoor or outdoor, but management determines exact locations.
Food concessions rates are $1,500 minimum guarantee, or 25 percent of gross sales, whichever is greater.
The San Diego County Fair encourages our commercial, food, ride and game vendors to utilize sustainable practices such as utilizing LED lighting and locally-sourced ingredients. Visit our Green Booth Initiative page to see a list of vendors we’ve recognized for their efforts and willingness to provide entertinament and value to the San Diego community while simultaneously helping build toward a sustainable future.
