The San Diego County Fair is the best value for your entertainment dollar.

The largest and longest-running community celebration in San Diego County is also the most fun. Included with your Fair admission is live music, great exhibits, exciting entertainment, agricultural education, farm animals, cultural experiences, and a fun and festive atmosphere.

As a self-funding institution, the Fair relies on the revenue produced during our event to maintain our facilities and produce our unique and high-quality events and activities. Our vendors, which include small businesses, local employees, suppliers, contractors, and others also rely on the Fair for their livelihoods.

But to help ensure that everyone can enjoy the summer's biggest bash, the San Diego County Fair offers dozens of ways for you to save big on admission, parking, rides, games, food, and more.

You will never pay more than $25 for single-day admission to the Fair. (Compare that to a trip to the ballpark, theme parks, and local festivals!)

But through sponsorships, promotions, and other amazing opportunities, we have big savings to offer on the price of general admission. Here is how:

Early bird pricing
A simple way to save: buy your ticket online at least one day in advance to save up to $5 on the price of admission.

Weekday pricing
Why wait until the weekend for fun at the Fair? You can save up to $5 per ticket on admission by coming to the Fair on Wednesday or Thursday instead of Friday through Sunday.

As a reminder, the Fair is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Family deals
Costs for families can add up fast. But we work to ensure that the Fair can be fun -- and affordable -- for people of all ages.

Children 5 and under are free every day at the Fair. And kids 12 and younger are free every Friday in June.

Senior and youth discounts
When we say we want the Fair to be affordable for people of all ages, we really mean it.

Aside from Kids Free Fridays, the Fair offers lower prices for youth ages 12 and under and for people ages 62 and up.

Fair for All
The Fair offers thousands of free tickets through community nonprofits looking to ensure that everyone has equitable access to a fun day at the Fair.

Toyota Summer Concert Series
Here's a pro tip: Your admission to the Fair is included when you buy a ticket to one of our Grandstand concerts.

That means you can enjoy the fun of the Fair all day long before you cap off your night with a premium live music experience!

Early bird pricing
Buy your Fair parking online in advance to save up to $5 on preferred or on-site general parking.

This will help save you time and money when you show up at the Fair with your parking pass already on hand.

Horsepark parking
If you want to save by parking off-site, you can turn the other direction on Via de la Valle to park at the Del Mar Horsepark for just $10.

Free off-site shuttle service will take you to and from the lot for your day of Fair fun.

Torrey Pines High School

Here's a pro tip: Parking is FREE if you park at Torrey Pines High School and take our free shuttle service.

This is the best deal if you have time -- but not recommended if you're in a time crunch.

Solana Beach Train Station

The Fair Tripper is your combination admission-and-transit ticket to the Fair.

Thanks to our partnership with North County Transit District, you can take the train to Solana Beach Station and get a free shuttle to the Fair.

The ticket helps you beat traffic and save big. With the price, you're either getting a free ride or free admission -- depending on how you want to look at it!

One note: Fair Tripper tickets are only available as a day-of purchase, meaning that you cannot buy it in advance. Also, make sure to check the train schedule to plan your arrival and departure times from the Fair!

The Fair's midway is an independent operation, meaning we contract with individual ride and game operators to bring you the most fun, most exciting, and safest carnival experience that we can offer.

That means the price of rides and games are not included with admission, but we work with our operators and sponsors to help make sure you can get your fill of thrills for less.
