What are the Fun Zone and Kids Zone hours?
Rides and games in the Fun Zone and Kids Zone open daily at 11am. The Kids Zone closes approximately one hour BEFORE the front gates close, and the Fun Zone stays open approximately one hour AFTER the front gates close.
Where can my BlastPass be used?
BlastPass credits may be used on all Fun Zone and Kids Zone rides and games, as well as the Skyway that runs from Bing Crosby Hall to Family Funville. They are not valid on the Slingshot or Pony Rides.
Do the rides and games also take cash?
No. The Fun Zone and Kids Zone are cashless and will have cash-to-credit machines (reverse ATMs) in key locations. These machines will load your cash on a card for use at the ticket booths, kiosks, and other cashless locations in the Fair (fee applies.)
Are my unused digital credits good for the fair next year?
BlastPass credits purchased for the 2024 San Diego County Fair are only valid for the duration of the 2024 San Diego County Fair and will be honored all days the Fair is open from June 12 through July 7, 2024.
There are no refunds on digital credits.
How much do BlastPass credits cost?
Each credit is valued at $1.25.
Rides and games require multiple credits. There are discounts available for purchases made online in advance of the Fair.
Will you offer a Fast Pass?
Yes, a limited number of Fast Pass lanyards will be sold each day for $40 and are available on site only. Fast Pass lanyards allow a patron special access to the Fast Pass lane for each ride expediting your ride experience.
Are there rides for younger Fair goers?
Yes, we have a special section called Kids Zone sized especially for little riders, located in our Family Funville area. BlastPass credits and Pay-One-Price wristbands work for these rides and games as well as the Fun Zone. The Kids Zone contains BlastPass ticket booths and self-serve kiosks for your convenience.
