BLUE LOT (Look for the blue flags)
From I-5 North:
• Exit Via De La Valle and turn LEFT
• Stay in the two outer-most left turn lanes and make a LEFT on Jimmy Durante Blvd.
• After turning on Jimmy Durante Blvd. stay in the far right lane to access the main gate which is the third entrance on the right.

From I-5 South:
• Exit Via De La Valle and turn RIGHT
• Stay in the two outer-most left turn lanes and make a LEFT on Jimmy Durante Blvd.
• After turning on Jimmy Durante Blvd. stay in the far right lane to access the main gate which is the third entrance on the right.

GREEN LOT: (Look for the Green Flags)
From I-5 North:
• Exit Via De La Valle and turn LEFT
• Stay in the far-right lanes and continue straight on Via De La Valle
• Make a LEFT into Solana Gate
• From there, you will be directed to turn into the Training Track to park.

From I-5 South:
• Exit Via De La Valle and turn RIGHT
• Stay in the far-right lanes and continue straight on Via De La Valle
• Make a LEFT into Solana Gate
• From there, you will be directed to turn into the Training Track to park.

PREFERRED LOT: (Look for the Orange Flags)
From I-5 North:
• Exit Via De La Valle and turn LEFT
• Stay in the far left turn lane and make a left on Jimmy Durante Blvd.
• Drive past the Main Gate, and the Ride Share Gate
• From there, you will be directed to turn into the Preferred Lot

From I-5 South:
• Exit Via De La Valle and turn RIGHT
• Stay in the far left turn lane and make a left on Jimmy Durante Blvd.
• Drive past the Main Gate, and the Ride Share Gate
• From there, you will be directed to turn into the Preferred Lot

HORSEPARK
Opens at 10am; closes 1 hour after Fair closes
Horsepark is located approximately 1.5 miles east of the Fairgrounds.

• Make a RIGHT on El Camino Real, entrance to Horsepark will be the second right.

CANYON CREST HIGH SCHOOL - FREE PARKING

• Turn right on Edgewood Bend (first right on Carmel Valley).
• This road turns into the Canyon Crest Parking Lot.

From I-5 South:
• Exit Del Mar Heights Rd. and turn left.
• Stay on Del Mar Heights Rd past Torrey Pines High School and Cathedral Catholic High School.
• Turn right on Carmel Valley Rd.
• Turn left on Edgewood Bend (second left on Carmel Valley).
• This road turns into the Canyon Crest Parking Lot.

From I-5 North:
• Exit Via De La Valle and turn LEFT

• From there, you will be directed to turn into the Rideshare Lot

Yes, and you can SAVE $4 on General Parking and SAVE $5 on PREFERRED PARKING by purchasing online at least 24 hours in advance of your visit! Use the links above to pre-purchase parking to one of our lots.

Event day parking sales are subject to space availability. We recommend you purchase your parking pass in advance.

Please note: The only authorized website to purchase parking passes is sdfair.com, If you purchase tickets from any other source, the San Diego County Fair cannot guarantee the validity of the tickets and you risk being denied admission, refunds and/or exchanges.

No, we do not accept cash for parking. San Diego County Fair parking lots are cashless and only accept credit card payments at the parking entrances.

On-Site and Off-Site Lots will open at 10am and generally close 1 hour after the Fair closes.

• Del Mar Fairgrounds parking lots have paid ADA parking stalls available on a first come first serve basis.
• Vehicles parked in ADA parking stalls must follow all regulations as specified within the California Vehicle Code.
• Vehicles parking in an ADA parking stall must display a valid ADA Placard and must possess a valid parking pass or pay the parking fee at the entrance.
• Trams and shuttles are equipped for wheelchairs and guests with disabilities.

• The San Diego County Fair encourages guests attending events to take alternate modes of transportation. The San Diego County Fair has bike racks located at the O’Brien Gate & Arena Gate.
• Be sure to bring your own lock to secure your bicycle.
• Unattended bicycles that impede pedestrian or vehicular circulation are subject to removal and/or relocation.

Be sure to charge your Electric Vehicle before arriving. We do not have Electrical Vehicle charging stations at the Del Mar Fairgrounds.

• Parking fees apply to motorcycles as well as vehicles.
• Motorcycles have a designated parking area in the Main Lot.

• Oversize vehicles (defined as Recreation Vehicles [RV], Limousines, Shuttles, Buses, motorcoaches, or any motor vehicle resembling the aforementioned vehicle descriptions) are not permitted.

• It is important that you follow directions for your parking lot, as each parking lot has a specific entry route.
• Check our website for the most up-to-date rules and regulations for parking at the San Diego County Fair.
• Please have parking passes displayed on your mobile device and ready to be scanned upon arrival at the parking lot.
• Duplicate parking passes will not be accepted.
• All guests must be in possession of a valid parking pass to park in a designated parking lot.
• Guests will be directed to their parking location by the parking attendant. Reserving spaces is NOT permitted.
• Parking staff will be line-parking all vehicles. Guests are required to follow the direction of parking staff and park as directed. Failure to abide by parking staff instructions may result in immediate ejection from the premises.
• The parking pass allows for one space per vehicle only.
• We strongly encourage guests to purchase a parking pass prior to the event or use alternate forms of transportation.
• Refunds will not be made for lost, stolen, or unused parking passes. A refund or credit will be made only for event cancellations.
• Del Mar Fairgrounds/San Diego County Fair or its agents shall not be responsible for fire, theft, damage or loss of/to vehicle or any other article left in vehicle parked in the lots. Vehicles are parked at owners’ risk.

There are no In and Out Privileges for parking.

• Overnight parking or storage of equipment by guests in parking lots is not permitted. Any vehicles left overnight are subject to tow at the owner's expense.

• The solicitation, peddling, hawking, selling, or vending of any goods, magazines, services, merchandise, subscriptions, etc. is prohibited.
• The distribution of any coupons, tickets, pamphlets, fliers or certificates for any goods, magazines, services, merchandise, subscriptions, etc. is also prohibited.
• Advertising or commercial activities are not permitted.
• Picketing, political campaigning, or signature gathering is not permitted.

• Rideshare drop-offs and pick-ups are welcome, the rideshare lot is located past our General parking, Blue Lot gate.

• Look for the Purple Flags!

• Free trams service the Preferred and on-site General Parking lots, and run continuously, delivering guests to the O’Brien Gate (main Fair entrance).

• Free shuttle service begins at 10:00 a.m. at Solana Beach Station, Horsepark, and Canyon Crest Academy and will run continuously, delivering guests to the West Gate entrance and O’Brien Gate.

No smoking, drinking or eating on the trams and shuttles.
