Community Banner Program

The Fair's Street Banner Program is back!

In 2024, some 680 community members of all ages showed up in their bell bottoms and poodle skirts, tie dye and parachute pants to help us promote the San Diego County Fair. More than 900 banners were installed in 23 communities throughout San Diego County. We do this in coordination with partners that are nonprofit organizations, such as business improvement districts, cities, and other community groups.

Applications are now being accepted from community leaders to nominate their group to be part of the 2025 San Diego County Fair Street Banner Program.

In order to participate, your organization should already be responsible for managing a street banner program in your local community.

Would you like your community to be involved? There is no cost to participate!

The Fair provides:
  • Photo shoot at your location
  • Backdrop and theme-related props
  • Design of banner artwork (includes your organization's logo)
  • Printing of banners
  • Installation and removal of banners on your designated street posts
Your organization provides:
  • Photo shoot location
  • Coordination of participants from your community (invitation, scheduling, photo releases)
  • A minimum of 10 banner spaces on street poles and required hardware
  • Distribution of printed banners at your location after the Fair
Each individual participant receives 2 free Fair admission tickets, plus their printed banner after the Fair.
