Woodworkers can enter furniture, models, musical instruments, clocks and other woodworking creations for cash awards and ribbons in the 2018 San Diego County Fair Design In Wood competitive exhibit.

The Design In Wood exhibit is open to all woodworkers, 18 and older. Work must be the creation of the artist whose name is on the entry registration.
Work that is not eligible:
- Works previously displayed in this exhibit
- Projects made from kits or under the supervision of an instructor
The processing fee is $20 per entry. Processing fees are non-refundable.
You may enter up to three entries, all classes combined.
Design In Wood is a juried show. You must enter digital images of your entry: front, side and isometric views. From these photos judges will determine which works will be accepted into the show.
Yes. If you would like to sell your artwork, indicate the price during the entry registration process. If you do not want to sell, mark NFS (Not For Sale) in the price field during registration, or leave the price field blank.
Listing a sale price authorizes the Fair to supply prospective buyers’ contact information to you. The sales transaction is strictly between the artist and prospective buyers; the Fair has absolutely no involvement beyond giving you this information.
