ON THE  GRANDSTAND STAGE

  • Date: June 14, 2019
  • Time: 7:30 pm
  • Location: Corona Grandstand Stage

The familiar maxim of the triple threat – singer, songwriter, musician – doesn’t begin to cover it for Toby Keith, one of the modern era’s most complete self-directed hit makers.

More than 25 years ago, “Should’ve Been A Cowboy” was released and shot up the charts to become Toby’s first No. 1, the engine driving everything has been the music. He writes it. He arranges and produces it. And he releases it on his own record label, Show Dog Nashville.

At the core is his songwriting, as recognized in his 2015 induction into the Songwriters Hall Of Fame in New York City. The Nashville Songwriters Association International named him Songwriter/Artist of the Decade and he is a three-time BMI Country Songwriter/Artist of the Year. His songs have received more than 91 million BMI performances on commercial radio stations worldwide.

Keith’s albums have sold more than 40 million copies. His tours have drawn more than a million fans each year for more than a decade straight. The awards are too numerous to count and include Artist of the Decade nods from Billboard and the American Country Awards, as well as the ACM’s Career Achievement honor and twice their Entertainer of the Year award winner in back-to-back years.

And there have been some unexpected highlights along the way as well, including country’s most impactful viral event, “Red Solo Cup,” the video for which has received more than 46 million views and was named ACM Video of the Year.

Toby’s most rewarding experiences, however, have come from giving back locally, nationally and abroad. His golf classics fund the Toby Keith Foundation and OK Kids Korral, a cost-free home for families of children dealing with critical illnesses. His 11 USO Tours to date have enhanced the lives of nearly 256,000 troops and military families in 18 countries with more than 285 events, and have been recognized with the Spirit of the USO Award (2014). And when a tornado ravaged his hometown, Toby Keith was the face of the community and helped shoulder the cleanup with the 2013 OK Twister Relief Concert.

Triple threat? How about singer, songwriter, musician, producer, entertainer, humanitarian, Oklahoman and patriot. For starters.

Frequently Asked Questions

When can I get into the concert area?

Doors to the Grandstand typically open 90 minutes before the show begins. This is an approximate time and may vary depending on crowd size and other factors.

If you are in a general admission area where it is first-come seating, a line-up area will be designated with signage in the Plaza de Mexico area. If you have a ticket with a specific seat, enjoy the Fair activities until you’d like to come to your seat.

My tickets are at Will Call. How do I pick them up?

Tickets ordered through Ticketmaster for pickup at Will Call will be available the day of the concert starting at 10:00AM. The Will Call booth is at the O’Brien Gate, informally known as the “front gate.” At the booth, present your Ticketmaster confirmation number, along with a valid ID (state-issued driver’s license or ID card, passport or military identification).

Can I get something to eat or drink during the concert?

Yes. The stage area has many food-and-beverage locations, or you can buy something from a Fair food vendor and bring it into the concert area.

Can I use my camera?

Any photography activities that may be deemed a nuisance to the enjoyment of others is prohibited. Personal “point and shoot” cameras are permitted, but do not block the view of people around you.

The following photography items are strictly prohibited, and may not be used during concerts:

  • No flash photography
  • No video or audio recording
  • No tablets
  • No cameras with removable lenses
  • No selfie sticks

What are the authorized ticket sellers for Fair concert tickets?

There are only two authorized ticket sellers: Ticketmaster and the Fairgrounds Box Office. We strongly recommend you never purchase Fair concert or festival tickets from any other source. Tickets purchased from non-authorized sources could be counterfeit or stolen, which means the ticket will not be honored, and you will lose the money you paid.
