With their lineage stemming from Hawaii, Samoa, Tahiti and Tokelau, both Noa and Jeannie Napoleon were born into families who entertained, taught and preserved the Polynesian culture.

Both have been a part of and learned from NONOSINA for over 20 years under the direction of Gram, Aunty Riki, Tiana, and Mevina Liufau, who is now the director of TAVAKE REREATA in Japan. With their love, support and blessings, the talented couple created their very own dance group in San Diego, HIVA KATOA. Their mission is to perpetuate their Polynesian heritage through the art of song, dance and storytelling.
