The San Diego County Fair is open through July 4. In the interest of public safety, activities involving direct animal interaction at the Fair have been suspended.
All guests are encouraged to wash their hands after any contact with animals or their living area, as well as prior to eating or drinking.

For you fireworks buffs, here are some fun statistics on the San Diego County Fair’s Fireworks Spectacular — The show includes more than 3,600 aerial display counts, with 500 shells in the Grand Finale alone! These aren’t wimpy fireworks either — shells are up to 8″ and include titanium flash salutes, color changing aerial displays, distinctive and unique display shells, and the popular streaking comets and tiger tails! Come blast off with us as we celebrate America!
Our July 4th Fireworks Spectacular starts about 9:00PM. Fireworks are launched from the west end of the racetrack and are choreographed to a soundtrack played through the Corona Grandstand Stage sound system. The fireworks are visible from many areas of the Fairgrounds, with favorite viewing areas including reserved Terrace seating and 2nd and 4th levels of the Grandstand, Family Funville, and the Fun Zone.
