Band in Black

Free with Fair Admission
Date: June 10, 2018
Time: 9:00 pm
Location: Coors Light Rock On Stage

Dressed all in black, in respect to the “Man In Black,” this tribute band plays the exact instruments, musical notes and arrangements of the original Johnny Cash recordings and live performances.

BAND IN BLACK has the rockabilly beat of a slappin’ upright bass and clicking of a vintage Fender Telecaster guitar that is the signature sound of Johnny Cash and The Tennessee Two. The band leader and singer, Cowboy Jack, provides the authentic baritone lead vocal while playing his Martin acoustic guitar with harmonica solos.

The audience will re-live the 1950s-1960s hits that have become legend. Songs include: “Folsom Prison Blues,” Ring of Fire,” “I Walk the Line,” “Ghost Riders in the Sky,” “Hey Porter,” and “A Boy Named Sue.”
This tight singing trio comes from the San Diego area. Cowboy Jack’s shows have entertained all over the United States, including the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee, theatres in Branson, Missouri, and casinos in Las Vegas, Nevada and Canada.
