The San Diego County Fair is open through July 4. In the interest of public safety, activities involving direct animal interaction at the Fair have been suspended.

All guests are encouraged to wash their hands after any contact with animals or their living area, as well as prior to eating or drinking.

If you’ve got talent and you’re aged 8 to 17, then come wow the judges in the San Diego’s Got Talent contest and you could take home the $1,000 first prize!
This is a new contest for 2019. It replaces the In The Spotlight contest, which was for singers only. This new contest is for all kinds of performing talent!

Final round performances at the Fair: Saturday, June 29, 2019 on the San Diego Showcase Stage. The youth division will start at 2:00PM, followed by the teen division at 3:30PM.

Youth and teens, ages 8 to 17 (as of May 31, 2019), who reside in the United States. The Youth Division is for ages 8 to 12, and the Teen Division is for ages 13 to 17.

Please see the Rules and Regulations for additional eligibility requirements.

Cash, trophies and bragging rights! Winners of each division get $1,000; second place gets $500; and third place gets $250.

Entrants submit links to their performances via YouTube or SoundCloud. Please see the Rules & Regulations for specific information regarding these performance videos.

Yes you can; however, please note that we ask for two different videos/sound clips which will be used for our online preliminary round. Please make sure that any media uploaded on the application works properly.

No. Because of the restraints of the online form, you must complete the application in the same sitting. Be sure to have your YouTube/SoundCloud link and payment information ready upon starting the application.

Yes, you will be sent an initial confirmation of your application. If you do not receive this, it could mean there was a problem with your application. Get in touch with us if you haven’t received confirmation two weeks after your submission.

Once the application deadline has passed, we will have a Selection Committee review all applications and the top contestants will be chosen to compete at the live round. We will contact finalists with additional information and a place to upload a bio that will be used by our Master of Ceremonies at the final round.
