Can’t participate in the competition? Register your students to read their original work in the Tin Cup Coffee House, part of the Student Showcase competitive exhibit.
Times and dates for the Tin Cup performances are 1:00-4:00PM, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays in June (June 7 & 8, 13-15 and 20-22). Teachers must register students by Friday, May 25.

Students will do the competing, but teachers must do the entry. This contest is open to all creative writing classes and clubs in San Diego County, grades 7-12.
Poems must be original (composed by the entrant who is reading it), three minutes long maximum. Language must be family-friendly. No props or costumes. Please see the Contest Information for more.
Ribbons for first, second and third place.
This contest has no processing fee, and participants will get free admission to the Fair on the contest date.
