How the West Was Fun!
There’s a new sheriff in town and it’s You, partner. Grab your cowboy hat, pull on your boots, and ride on over to this year’s San Diego County Fair as we celebrate the legendary rough-and-tumble Wild, Wild West.
Horses are man’s best friend out here in the West, where you can learn how to saddle up, rope and riiiide-em’ cowboy. Try your hand at panning for gold, or set up camp out on the prairie and tell tales ’round the campfire. When you’re feelin’ parched, mosey on over to the Main Street Saloon and sip on a tall sarsaparilla while you try your luck at the poker table playing against the infamous scallywags and desperados of the Old West.
Explore an old stagecoach, but hide your valuables or you might get held up by scurrilous outlaws like Billy the Kid, Jesse James or Black Bart! Meet the rowdy women of the west, like Calamity Jane and “Little Sure Shot” Annie Oakley.
Hey howdy hey, 2017 is gonna be the rootinest, tootinest Fair in the whole durn valley!

SAN DIEGO COUNTY FAIR
The 2017 San Diego County Fair runs from Friday, June 2 through Tuesday, July 4. The Fair is closed the first four Mondays and the first three Tuesdays.
San Diego International Beer Festival
Join us on June 16-19, 2017 for the 11th Annual San Diego International Beer Festival. Now the largest beer festival on the West Coast, you can sample unlimited tastings of hundreds of beers from all over the world.
The Toast of the Coast Wine Festival
On June 10, 2017, The Toast of the Coast Wine Festival will showcase the very best wines of the United States and Mexico. Taste more than 100 award-winning wines from the 2017 Wine Competition in the serene Paul Ecke Jr. Garden Show.
Distilled Spirit & Cocktail Festival
You do not want to miss this year’s Distilled Spirit & Cocktail Festival on June 24, 2017. We’ll be serving up 100 different spirits and mixers, including some rare and hard-to-find bottles!
